The original was painted in situ in Market Harborough, summer 2025. This was one of the last that I painted and you can see my expressionist use of colour seeping into this composition, pushing the golden sunny hues and dark shadows further into purples and golds. I love what has been done with these two shops. Market Harborough fights for its shopping soul in places like this!
