About 

Since I was small, creating art has always fascinated me. The ability to create worlds, capture moments and emotions has caught my interest ever since. I never stop folding away scenes for later drawings, hours watching a sunrise in late April in a bluebell wood. soaking in the trees in early leaf and the virulent purple-blue in the warm morning light.  ​

After 15 years of teaching Art and Photography - where I picked up the moniker Artfather - I finally decided to scratch this itch and dedicate myself to becoming an artist.

​

5 years later I was working as a Digital Illustrator, starting to pick up work and finding my feet in a new world, when along came Artificial Intelligence and the market collapsed overnight.

​

So I have picked up my paintbrushes and started again. My work has matured and evolved, my use of light and colour developed and my love of art kindled anew.

​

Now I work outside 'en plein air' and I am enjoying meeting folks in Harborough as I try to catch the vibrant shapes of the town. If you visit Market Harborough on a sunny day come and say hello.​

More recently Tim has joined up his love of Colour, Edges and Painting with his love of Tanks. You can meet him at many different shows and museums around the country trying to capture this emotional reaction.

I continue to work in Acrylics and Digital media and also tutor on the side, if people would like lessons.
