I painted this while sitting outside the theatre. I used to volunteer at the theatre every week, building and designing sets. We had a great bunch of characters, mostly retired. One had a great story about giving Charlie Bronson a shave while he was at Gartree. I like this view of the Church and Grammar School, it's unexpected and unorthodox. It's like the hidden history.
